Provision by Beth Wade

Philippians 4:19 ESV
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Matthew 21:22 ESV
And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
Matthew 7:7 ESV
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Luke 12:24 ESV
Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!
How often do we try to meet our needs on our own instead of seeking God for provision?
Just as the disciples tried to send out the 5,000 to find their own provisions. I believe it's human nature to think we must always provide and not seek God.
Just like he fed the 5,000 with an abundance of fish and bread, He will feed us too..more than we need.
We have to be seeking Him, His guidance. We must take all things to Him in prayer and ask Him to fulfill them. Even though he knows our heart we must verbally in prayer turn it over to Him. We must be prepared to do His will for His provisions for us to be met.
When we try to do it without Him it means we aren't trusting Him to be our provider.
When we trust in God and turn to Him for our provisions, He provides more than we need in a way we don't expect.
As he provides for our physical needs, our spiritual needs are met. His faithfulness grows our faith in Him.
