Crockpot Meat Sauce

Crockpot Meat Sauce

1/2 pound pork sausage

1/2 pound extra lean hamburger

1 onion

1 green pepper

1 cup mushrooms

I large can crushed tomatoes

1 small can tomato paste

8 leaves of fresh basil, chopped

Brown sausage, hamburger, and onion until cooked through, then add to crockpot. Use that same skillet to combine remaining ingredients until thoroughly mixed through. Add to crockpot, stir, and cook on now for 2-4 hours.
